Supermarkets and warehouse clubs sell whole-bean and ground coffee at the lowest prices, while roasters and specialty stores carry fresher, single-origin beans. Fort Lauderdale is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fort Lauderdale follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Swap Shop is a large outdoor marketplace where people sell all kinds of items right from their cars. It’s a pretty cool place to explore, with a lot of vendors and plenty to see. There’s also an enclosed food court that has additional shops inside, including jewelers, barbers, and much more. You can easily spend 1–2 hours walking around if you want to visit and browse each vendor. Overall, it was a pretty cool day and a great place to visit. If you go, I’d recommend going in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat and the strong Florida sun. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy markets, shopping, and discovering unique finds!

We visited the Fort Lauderdale Swap Shop and had a great time! The market is filled with fresh tropical fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, and unique vendors. We enjoyed fresh coconut water, sugarcane juice, and even took photos with the famous Blues Brothers statues. If you’re in the Fort Lauderdale area, it’s definitely worth a visit!
